Alex: Emily Brown is the first player we introduced. She is a produced playwright, and her most recent show was about?
Emily: It was about the secret love affair between Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.

I remember that contestant. The episode aired on Dec 3, 2009, and the contestant was Emily Brown from Rhode Island. She mentioned the play during the contestant interview segment.
I couldn't find any more information about her play either, but I did post about it on the Holmesslash group. This is what I said about the episode:
As for how they reacted, Alex first said, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" in a joking way, and Emily responded, "Exactly, they couldn't tell." Alex then acted as if he were a little skeptical, asking if she had read all of Conan Doyle's works and had come to this conclusion. (He wasn't blatantly offensive and homophobic; he sounded more as if he were amused and thinking "hey that's weird" than anything.) She responded that yes, she'd read it all and this was what she thought.
Later, once they resumed gameplay, there was a question about Iowa's same-sex marriage law, and Alex added the comment, "Holmes and Watson again." I didn't pay attention to the audience reaction; I was mostly freaking out the whole rest of the show.
