The buzz on the blogs is that Mark Gatiss (co-creator of BBC's Sherlock with Steven Moffat) also writes gay erotica under the name Christian Fall. Wikipedia lists "The King's Men" on his profile. The slash-inclined live in hope, but honestly I doubt the series will ever have Sherlock be overtly gay rather than asexual/ambiguous.

I´d like to see Sherlock overtly gay in the next season, but as much i´d love to see it, i think we´ll get some slight subtext, open to any interpretation...i dont want to give up, though.
